5th June 2006 More charities go live More charities have gone live on our various gift lists, including Breast Cancer Care and The Orchid Cancer Appeal along with Sense, the charity for children and adults who are deafblind.
11th May 2006 Give It named as winners in local business awards At an awards ceremony this evening Give It were named as winners in The Hertfordshire Rising Stars Awards for "Best Business Idea" - special thanks to all those who have supported us so far.

13th June 2005 Couples pages upgraded Couples now have access to even more info online - as well as details of donations and messages you can now look up running totals of donations made and can even download all details onto a PDF.

17th October 2004 The Alternative Gift List Goes Live After the success of the UK's first on-line charitable wedding list service the concept has now been developed to allow people to use the service to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and retirements
27th July 2004 More charities join, new gift lists available. Six more charities join the service, including Barnardo's, Samaritans and Terrence Higgins Trust, enabling us to provide couples with a choice of three groups of charities for their gift lists.
24th June 2004 Radio 2's Website of the Day On Thursday 24th June The Alternative Wedding List was chosen by Miles Mendoza as 'Website of the Day' on the Radio 2 programme 'Steve Wright in the Afternoon'.
26th May 2004 The Alternative Wedding List goes international! Our first 'international' couple sign up - Ghada and Ed, who live in Egypt, said "with so many family and friends in the UK it's a great way to allow them to be part of our wedding".
